WelcomeThe Raphael Steiner School was founded in 2002 by a group of parents with the strong desire to provide their own young children with an education based on Rudolf Steiner’s philosophies. Teachers, friends and family, including ex-pupils of Steiner Waldorf schools, are all working hard to ensure that the school thrives on its initial success.
Natural Surroundings
Housed in delightful premises in a natural setting on
the Norfolk/Suffolk border, we aim to provide children and families with the wonderful opportunities
of a Steiner school education. The natural surroundings bring the children into intimate contact with the
changing seasons, yet the school is situated within 30 minutes' journey of the culturally rich
towns of Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.
